It causes a huge amount of ruckus at the airport, but that could all be changing.

Heathrow Airport in London has announced that they will soon be deploying new scanning technology within their security area and that this new technology will allow passengers to keep their liquids in their bags as they pass through security. As if that wasn’t enough, it will mean that passengers can take more than the standard 100ml of liquid. It’s believed that it will limit the amount of single-use plastics used in the airport, and make things easier for passengers who want to pass through security quickly, and with more of their products with them. Although it will only be available at Heathrow to begin with, it’s suggested that other airports will invest in the technology as the years go by.

This is a huge advancement in the airport world and one that will make traveling much easier.
