It’s Not Ready Yet
People have grown impatient when it comes to technology. There are so many new things released all the time that consumers are desperate to pick them up as soon as they’re released. However, this isn’t always smart, especially when it comes to cell phones.
When a product’s at the beginning of its lifecycle, a lot of the kinks have yet to be ironed out. That’s because there haven’t been thousands of people logging complaints and pointing out flaws. Without those, the company doesn’t know about the unexpected problems that need fixing.

One Problem After Another
Although 5G might be a thing that exists now, it’s still somewhat restricted in where it can be used. Until it grows in popularity and more transmitters are established, the ultra-fast service will only be available in select areas.
That hardly sounds ideal, especially given how much companies are charging for the service. Cell phone providers are pushing the boat out when it comes to cost, and the price doesn’t justify what’s available to customers right now.
It’s easy to be enticed by something new like 5G, particularly when it’s offering things like super-fast internet on the go. However, it’ll be a while before this service is at the level it should be, by which point pricing won’t seem so high. They do say patience is a virtue!
