The Goolsky TB-802 is a pretty cool device. Its simple and easy-to-use design and gesture remote make it the ideal indoor drone for gadget enthusiasts on a budget looking for a thrill. At just $18, you certainly won’t be able to find a better drone for a better deal. However, if you’re looking for a more substantial drone and are willing to spend just a little bit more money, we’ve found the drone for you.
EachineDirect, a company that ships through Amazon, is currently offering a limited-time supply of Eachine E56 drones for just $29.99. The drone usually sells for about $50, but if you can search the internet for the right promo codes, you can get your hands on this one-of-a-kind machine for close to half that price.
While the E56 sure is fun to fly, we have to admit that there’s a bit of a learning curve and that it takes some time to figure out the intricacies involved with a smooth flight pattern. We would highly recommend testing out the E56 somewhere where there is a wide open space and soft landing in case you need to make an emergency crash landing. That being said, once you master the art of flying the E56, you’re in for a great time!
One minor critique we have of the E56 involves the remote. There are four different functions, none of which are labeled, which can be quite annoying, especially when you’re first learning how to operate the device. We enjoyed having three different speed options as well as the altitude-hold feature. Additionally, the E56 comes with a solid carrying case, meaning you won’t have to worry about breaking the drone while bringing it from place to place.
Similar to any other small drone on the market, the battery life is limited, and the video quality isn’t amazing. However, you’ll definitely be able to capture some cool photos. All things considered, the E56 is an awesome drone for the price!
